Music Projects

October 25th, 2009

Below are some of musical projects I’ve been involved in listed in reverse order of their conception. My latest project is an original soul/jazz trio called Dirty Superb, which I formed with Elevator Logic members Jacob Haqq-Misra and Michael New.

Aside from these projects, I also enjoy spacey electric jam sessions and playing mandolin around the campfire. These musical outings are great places to meet other musicians and are a good opportunity to challenge yourself at risks you might not ordinarily take.

To hear some recordings I’ve been a part of, check out the MP3 goodness page.

Musical Projects

Dirty Superb – An original funk soul-jazz trio
Hounds of Soul – State College’s own funk, soul, and Motown band
The Jackdaw Boys – Acoustic, folk, and bluegrass
Vitamin Funk
Cootie Brown – Original funk, jazz, and jam music
Buddhas of Budda – Acoustic guitar duo
Ubiquitous Proprietors – Original funk/rock (probably my first webpage ever; I can’t believe it still exists)

Other Work

I’ve also had the opportunity to play electric guitar during an interlude on Elevator Logic’s tune Undone.

If you like my playing and would like me to sit in for a live gig or a recording, please contact me.
