History
The Buddhas of Budda are two acoustic guitar players who met at PSU's Mont Alto branch campus. In Spring of 2001 they had late night jams at the gazeebo between the gates, often joining their guitar rhythms to form heavy acoustic melodies. During the Spring semester, they wrote many songs, some of which were later recorded on a disc titled
Under the Sun.

Several other musicians joined the Buddhas of Budda for jam sessions at pavillions, camp fires, and friendly gatherings across Pennsylvania. Accompanying musicians include:
- Jeff Hollinger (percussion on Under the Sun)
- Brett Hammond (lead guitar on Under the Sun, "The Ballad of Brett")
- Graham Kronk (fiddle, mandolin, and classical guitar)
