US scientists have stated that
life on Mars might be possible. They've concluded that the Mars atmosphere is "rich in carbon dioxide" and that life could exist if the planet was warmer. The thin atmosphere is a key role in why the planet is so cold.
Some scientists at the
NASA Ames Research Center have run a computer simulation to determine that "fluorine-based gases" could warm that atmosphere and life could evolve over a long period of time.
This has sparked interest in the scientific community because watching life evolve could help us learn more details about evolution.
