In this month's Rolling Stone there's an article about what Seymour Hersh is to eyes of the Bush administration (and likewise to previous administrations). I've heard of him before, but didn't read or learn about him until now.

Seymour Hersh is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who investigates our government especially during times of controversy (notably the Vietnam and Iraq wars as mentioned in the article); he seems to be awfully knowledgeable when it comes to these things.

The magazine article was basically a follow-up interview to a recent article which Hersh wrote for The New Yorker. I dug up the article: Annals of National Security: The Iran Plans.
